New logger supports the following sensors (depending on the option ordered, the sensor will be mounted in the logger or on the cable):
- (Germany) BOSH BMP388 is a very small, precise, low power, low noise absolute barometric pressure sensor
- (Germany) BOSH BMP180 is a very small, precise, absolute barometric pressure and temperature sensor
- (USA) TE Connectivity HTU21D is digital relative humidity with temperature sensor
- (USA) GRAVITY SKU_DFR0558 is digital high temperature K-type sensor
- (China) ASAIR AHTXX is a family of full calibrated temperature and humidity sensor
- (USA) STMICROELECTRONICS LIS3DSH ultra-low-power high-performance three-axis "nano" accelerometer

On the board :
- MEMS of motion sensor the logger has dynamically selectable full scales of
±2g/±4g/±6g/±8g/±16g and is capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 3.125 Hz to 1.6 kHz,
- MEMS of temperature and humidity sensors (new generation 2023), has established a new standard in size and intelligence. The sensor outputs calibrated digital signals is equipped with a newly designed ASIC chip, an improved MEMS semiconductor capacitive humidity sensing element and a standard on-chip temperature sensing element. As a result, the performance of the new generation of temperature and humidity sensors has greatly improved or even exceeded that of the previous ones with more stability in harsh environments. Each sensor is calibrated and tested, with product batch number printed on the surface of the product.
- MEMS of high precision digital pressure and temperature sensors (a new generation for military use). The ultra-low power, low voltage electronics of the BMP180 is optimized for use in mobile phones, PDAs, GPS navigation devices and outdoor equipment. With a low altitude noise of merely 0.25m at fast conversion time, the BMP180 offers superior performance. The BMP180 is based on piezo-resistive technology for EMC robustness, high accuracy and linearity as well as long term stability. Robert Bosch is the world market leader for pressure sensors in automotive applications. Based on the experience of over 400 million pressure sensors in the field, the BMP180 continues a new generation of micro-machined pressure sensors.
- PT100 is suitable for most of the temperature measurement below 400°C, but usually the temperature of the household natural gas stove can reach over 800°C, and the temperature of the pottery kiln or high-power electric furnace can be more than 1000°C. The K-type thermocouple are commonly used in such ultra-high temperature scenes. The digital K-type high temperature sensor consists of a signal amplification conversion module and a sheathed K-type thermocouple probe. When the K-type thermocouple probe is placed near a high-temperature heat source, the probe generates a small voltage proportional to the temperature due to the thermoelectric effect. The module uses a MAX31855K dedicated chip to amplify this small voltage, convert it to digital signals, and compensate accordingly. The module can measure extremely wide temperature ranging from -270°C to 1372 °C, the error from -200°C to 700°C is within ±2 °C, and the error from 700°C to 1350°C is within ±4°C. The attached K-type thermocouple can measure up to 800 °C with error within ± 2.5 °C.

Analog Machine Activity Detection

Overview
The Analog function allows automatic detection of machine operation based on an analog signal received from a sensor, current transformer, vibration sensor, sound sensor, or any other analog source. The new algorithm has been simplified to provide fast configuration and reliable operation. Only three parameters are required to configure machine activity detection.
---
Configuration
Configuration is performed directly from the DLB.one web interface. Threshold
**Threshold** defines the signal level above which machine operation is detected.
When the measured analog value exceeds the configured Threshold, the system starts analyzing the signal.
Example:
* Threshold = 500
* Measured signal = 65%
The signal is considered active.
---
Time
**Time** specifies how long the signal must remain above the Threshold before the machine operation event is confirmed.
This parameter prevents false triggering caused by short spikes or disturbances.
Example:
* Threshold = 500
* Time = 5 mili secounds
The analog signal must remain above 50% continuously for at least 5 seconds before a machine operation log is generated.
---
%ED (Duty Cycle)
**%ED** determines the required percentage of active signal within the configured Time window.
This parameter is useful when monitoring pulsating, unstable, or varying analog signals.
Example:
* Time = 100 mili seconds
* %ED = 70%
The signal must remain above Threshold for at least 7 seconds within the 100 mili second observation period.
Only then will the machine operation be recognized.
--- Machine Activity Detection
A machine operation log is generated when all of the following conditions are met:
✔ Signal value is above Threshold
✔ Signal duration exceeds Time
✔ Signal duty cycle exceeds the configured %ED value
Once these conditions are satisfied, the DLB.one platform automatically records machine activity and updates production statistics.
---
Example Configuration
Stable Current Signal
* Threshold: 400
* Time: 300 ms
* %ED: 90%
Recommended for current transformers and power monitoring.
Vibration Sensor
* Threshold: 300
* Time: 10 ms
* %ED: 60%
Recommended for vibration-based machine monitoring.
Pulse-Based Signals
* Threshold: 500
* Time: 15 ms
* %ED: 50%
Recommended for irregular machine operation patterns.
---
Advantages of the New Algorithm
* Simple configuration
* Faster commissioning
* Improved reliability
* Reduced sensitivity to noise
* Suitable for most industrial applications
* No advanced parameter tuning required
Only three settings are needed: **Threshold**, **Time**, and **%ED**.
